WELCOME to my home!
The neighbors call us the "Doggie Resort" because our puppies are treated so well. Throughout the years, many of our four-legged friends have passed through our home out here in the country near Charlotte, N.C. People call those dogs "lucky" and I suppose it's true. We've always been over-the-top dog lovers.
If you have purchased or plan to buy a puppy from me, this is where the early poodle "magic" all happens! Naturally, I built the puppies their own room on the house, they have a big protected deck in the forest overlooking a lake. Yes, all the doggies are signing up on our waiting list to come stay at the Poodle Palace bed & breakfast (plus lunch & dinner.) Whoever said "it's a dog's life" must have never been to the Doggie Resort!
Oh, how sweet it is! Our puppies have their own big, beautiful deck up in the trees, fenced in all around and completely covered with bird netting to fend off our flying friends (like hawks and owls.) What? You think THIS is great? Just wait until you see their lake front view (below.)
Here are a few shots taken in the Poodle Palace. Are they real or stuffed?
That's Annabelle down below, peeking into the day bed. These puppies have lots of toys to play with.
It's nice just hangin' out together. You can't see the T.V. in this picture, but they're watching their favorite movie:
All Dogs Go To Heaven.
What a beautiful view! Although, just between us, I don't think the puppies appreciate the lake as much as I do.
All the puppies love spending the evenings with us in the den (yes, ALL of them!) Too bad we don't get Lassie" reruns. We tuck them in around 10 P.M. each night. After all, first light comes early and they need their beauty sleep if they're going to pose for the beautiful pictures you see on my website. I think of their lives with us as practice for your wonderful home where they will be loved and "doted" on for the rest of their tiny lives. Us breeders call that "socializing."
Night-night, babies! And yes, it IS true what they say about that Carolina moon. I shot this picture in my driveway. Thanks again for stopping by, and if you're in the area please give us a call and plan to stop by for a visit. You can usually reach me from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M. on weekdays and from 1 to 6 P.M. on weekends.
