Parvo is a terrible virus, usually fatal, especially in young puppies.  From my personal experience, if you have more than one dog they are ALL definitely infected, even if the symptoms aren't showing up yet. 

PLEASE DON'T WAIT to begin using Parvaid and Vibactra Plus, and DON'T de-worm your dogs if you are going to use Parvaid and Vibactra Plus, it reportedly decreases their ability to fight off the parvovirus (as might vaccinations.)

Although certain strains of parvo are more deadly than others, the sooner you start, the better the odds of your pet's full recovery*.  I believe that Parvaid, an all-natural supplement along with Vibactra Plus, an all-natural immunity enhancer, will vastly improve your pet's chances of survival*. 

Because my dogs recovered so well, I started selling Parvaid and Vibactra Plus to other pet owners when their dogs were diagnosed with parvo.   I found the recovery rate was extremely high when used as suggested.

But let me warn you, my vet was not happy.  He wanted me to leave Rudy there 24/7 on an IV drip, which, I think like most vets, was all he knew to do.   He thought I was giving Rudy a certain death sentence by taking him home, even though he said the in office treatment would be around $2,500 and Rudy would probably die anyway.  He gave me another option of putting Rudy to sleep.  I didn't consider either of those choices acceptable.

Now I consider this very important: have your dog tested by the vet to be sure he actually has parvo.  It only cost me $15 and he had the result in minutes.  Because there are parvo "imitators" and even though Parvaid and Vibactra Plus are organic and I've never heard of them harming a dog, you need a treatment to match the illness. 

A word of caution: Parvo is transmitted by direct or indirect contact, so be very careful.  It can be carried by birds (who can also get it) and cats (who transmit it but don't actually get sick from it.)  It sheds in large numbers.  One ounce of feces can carry millions of particles of the virus.   People don't normally get the parvovirus, but can easily spread it from their skin, shoes and clothing.

That's why I suggest a six week quarantine and a thorough cleaning of everything, inside and out.  Just bear in mind that even the most careful procedures can't guarantee that the parvovirus won't spread.  You just have to do your best.  My advice is to change into clean clothing before going out, and stay away from other pets or people with pets if at all possible.

The virus attacks the intestinal tract and immune system.  Dehydration is ultimately the main cause of death, but it can also be due to blood loss, organ failure, infection and low blood sugar.  Not a pretty picture.


This parvo emergency tea recipe is what I gave Rudy (and Ginger) while waiting for the Parvaid and Vibactra Plus to arrive.  It kept them hydrated since they couldn't hold anything down, not even water.

I made plain oatmeal , no seasonings or flavorings.  Then I took the water only that the oats were cooked in, added a touch of CAFFEINE FREE chamomile tea (mint tea also works to calm the tummy so they can hold it down) plus a couple of drops of honey, and let it cool.  I took a plastic dropper and gave them a tablespoon every hour. 

I actually continued using the oat tea to mix in the Parvaid and Vibactra Plus once it arrived, but Pedialyte is O.K. too.

The standard dose for Vibactra Plus is administered orally 4 times daily for up to 10 days. A 10 day dosing period is optimum. 

Long Term Use:

Co-administration of Vibactra Plus with Parvaid or other Amber Technology products is short term. However, there are clinical settings in which Vibactra Plus is utilized beyond a ten day regimen. Vibactra Plus may be used for many months with clinical drug holidays (break) as directed to build immunity as well as a variety of conditions resulting in viral, bacterial and microscopic parasitical symptoms.   For the first six months of long term use, 1-2 times daily administration may continue as needed. If administration of Vibactra Plus beyond six months is mandated, a 5 day holiday from product before re-starting is necessary. Vibactra Plus can be administered via this six month rotation cycle for eighteen months.

Twice a day dosing should approximate administration every 12 hours. Four times a day dosing should approximate administration every six hours.

When treating more than one pet with the same dropper, it is necessary to assure sterile administration without carry over from pet to pet. The best way to assure this is to use the dropper only to transfer product to an individual sterile oral syringe—a different syringe for each pet. Those syringes should be sterilized after each use. Each pet should have its own syringe that is not shared with another pet. If a syringe is not readily available, then until one can be found, one may mix the product with a larger volume of flavored fluid (e.g. tuna or salmon water) that is to be lapped from a bowl. However, the use of a syringe assures a more accurate dose.

Vibactra Plus Protocol:

Shake product well before use. For most illnesses (e.g. Kennel Cough) the product may be administered orally 4 times daily during waking hours. In the case of more significant illness, the product must be administered every 6 hours around the clock, even if the animal must be awakened.

For both dosing scenarios, dosage protocol lasts for up to ten days, depending on the specific infection being treated. As a rule of thumb, treatment should continue through full clinical recovery and then for three more days after that. 

In the case of an infected pregnant adult animal, safe and effective administration is suggested to be body weight equivalent dose administered strictly every 12 hours (whether awake or asleep).

In the case of an infant animal infection (an infected animal age 4 weeks or younger), the best route of administration is via mother’s milk. Therefore, the mother is treated as if she was infected, using her body weight to measure the amount of product used. This has the extra added advantage of treating the rest of a hypothetical litter—whether that be symptomatic treatment of undiagnosed disease or preventive treatment.  As well, the mother is clearly receiving preventive treatment. This not only helps the entire litter, but has a preventive effect on the entire local environment. While the amount of nutraceutical and the frequency of feeding are both inexact quantities, as long as the care taker assures that the infant feeds well on a regular basis and does not get nudged out by the others in the litter, then this strategy is considered efficacious. 

Suggested Use For Exposed Animals

Suggested Use for Coccidia or Giardia:

In most cases it will take a 10-day treatment to rid your pet of Coccidia and Giardia. However, if you have a crowded or dirty property, (i.e. kennel, farm, unclean property etc.) you may have to do a 10 day on and 10 day off cycle program. This program consists of Vibactra Plus and Parvaid (for dogs) or Kitty Distempaid (for cats). Give for 10 days. Go off ten days (be sure to clean the premises well during treatment). Go back on for 10 days then back off another 10 days. You will do this until you have completed 3 ten-day cycles. Adding MSM to their diet may give them a better chance at fighting off the protozoan (some protozoan’s are difficult to treat). If exposed to Coccidia: Administer Vibactra Plus twice a day for 10 days (after weaning if applicable).

Warning:

Keep Vibactra Plus out of the reach of children under 16 years of age. The dosing guidelines must be followed exactly as written. Overdose of this product can cause serious side effects, to include irritability, change in behavior, reduced consciousness, vomiting and subsequent dehydration, stupor, coma, or death. 

It is important to weigh your pet before administration of this product. Continuous use of Vibactra Plus without appropriate scheduled interruption is to be avoided, as it is associated with clinically significant listlessness, diarrhea and vomiting.. As with any nutraceutical or pharmaceutical product, Vibactra Plus may cause an allergic reaction that may manifest as either skin redness, urticaria (hives), peri-orbital edema (swelling around the eyes), or as potentially serious respiratory dysfunction associated with laryngeal edema. Any suggestion of allergic reaction, even the most subtle, should alert the pet owner or veterinary health care provider to cease any further administration of Vibactra Plus and to assess for interventional measures for such a reaction.

One should have all of the appropriate emergency contact information readily available before starting this or any nutraceutical,   pharmaceutical, or nutritional supplement. It is recommended that the pet owner, the novice in particular, discuss the use and side effect profile of this and any product with his or her veterinary health care provider.

Co-administration of Vibactra Plus with other agents must be done with caution. In the event of co-administration with other Amber Technology products, one must NOT mix Vibactra Plus with Kennel Koff , Kocci Free, HWF, Urinary Tract Relief or with the original version of Vibactra. Co-administration with pharmaceutical antibiotics is considered safe in most instances, with rare exception. 

Two known exception is the co-administration of Vibactra Plus with the antibiotic Baytril and Tamiflu which may have caused an adverse reaction of clinical significance. Therefore, this product should not be given to any animal receiving antibiotics or other Amber Technology products unless otherwise directed. 

Overdose of this product in a pregnant dog statistically increases the risk of miscarriage. Evidence of liver disease is a relative contraindication due to the presence of ethyl alcohol in this product (alcohol may be removed by protocol). All benefits and risks of this product should be weighed appropriately before use.
